When the wind is actually a help instead of it’s usual hindrance! This is the second outfit from my style diary with, this full look is from Topshop Jervis available in store now. I’m completely obsessed with the waistcoat, it’s the perfect length, shape, and the wrap belt with D ring is such a nice finishing touch. This is a slightly more casual outfit than the last post, but is definitely still something you could wear out for dinner or drinks. If it feels too dressy for daytime swap the crossover blouse for an oversized vest or long sleeve jersey top and you’re good to go. And yes, you can see that I am still living in these Mom jeans and to be honest I can’t see myself giving them up in the foreseeable future either. They’re one of my best buys and they actually get better with age, I love how they’ve gotten so worn in looking as the frays turned into full rips after a bit of wear and tear. While it’s still a bit chilly out throw a knitted roll neck jumper on underneath the waist coat and swap the cut out boots for a more sensible- ie. something that will perhaps not turn your toes into full icicles- footwear choice, go for ankle boots tucked under the jeans or even just a pair of runners. Speaking of runners, my new found high street favourites are coming in the next post! Check back next week for the third outfit from my Independent Style Diary.
