(Grey cigarette pants House of Sunny | Acne Studios tank | Asos Duster Coat | Birkenstock Arizona’s | Michael Kors Watch)
House of Sunny is an East London brand currently in its third season. I was lucky enough to be approached by House of Sunny for my first blogger collaboration, and I couldn’t have asked for a better brand to be involved with. I had the opportunity to ask Sunny Williams, the director of the company, a few questions about his new line the ‘Crakk Collection’.
Where did the concept for ‘House of Sunny’ arise from?
The label has been growing for 5 years based on lux staples and wearable fashion designed independently.
What were your inspirations for the Crakk collection?
Clean lines, volume, lux fabrics and a relaxed shape.
Who do you envision wearing your designs?
IGers with clean pages and new age taste.
How would you describe the brand’s aesthetic?
Pure, driven, real and quality wardrobe staples with a hint of innovation and a twist of hip.
What can we expect to see in the next HofS collection?
More shapes, styles and a larger website with more for an ever growing fan base.
After carefully sifting through the collection, I chose to style the cigarette pants in grey. What caught my attention was how the high-waisted shape contrasted perfectly with the relaxed wide fit of the leg. I can already tell these pants are going to be a staple piece in my wardrobe. The Acne tank compliments the silhouette of the trousers and paired together they create a voluminous look which I feel is reminiscent of the overall feel of the Crakk collection. I wore my Asos duster coat over the outfit, and a pair of Birkenstock Arizona’s to finish it off. I like playing with lengths and shapes and the duster sits at the perfect length over the cropped trousers to frame the outfit nicely. Big thanks to the guys over at House of Sunny, and another big thanks to Josh Gordon at fucknfilthy.com for the snaps.
